Quirks,
That's definitely no weirder than me feeding the lady bugs in my house. Normal or not? Who knows? I think it's great!

hillbilly--
I sure hope Billy Bob Roy has an on-worm GPS system so he'll know where to go...lol.

Maybe they are not tunneling for a reason
They are basking in the sun for a few moments as they so rarely see it, that is until you come along!

It is I that needs to thank you! You have put me in the best mood of the day! By the way, I'm sending Billy Bob Roy worm out that way to rescue his brethren, he should be there sometime in the fall of 2026........

hillbilly--lol--
I was just trying to think of the most stereotypical names of a "certain" type--I did not realize they were southern worms...it WOULD take them a long time to get back home.

Quirkyalone....

why do the worms you converse with have Southern names? No wonder the poor little fellers are tired! Do you have ANY idea what a crawl it is from here to California?

Thanks for the lighthearted post and thanks for the smiles!

To keep them happy you could read them some of the novels of Annelid Bronte. Another idea would be to play them music - anything by Earther Kitt would do. Failing that, give them chewing gum - Wriggley's, of course.
