So disappointing.
I'm glad you posted this. Last I heard she had not decided whether or not to skate.
Kwan is definitely my favorite, but it's almost like it was meant to be. She peaked at 16 or 17 and ever since has gone downhill -- technically, not artistically.
Still, 5 worlds and 9 nationals, as well as two Olympic medals, definitely make up a career to be extremely proud of!

I feel bad for her, but she wouldn't have won and she shouldn't have
petitioned to take someone else's spot. She had her chance... silver and bronze are nothing to be upset about.
