Krystal, That is so true, and you want to be and do
your best the second time around!

AMEN!
Isn't that just an amazing feeling? To know you should and could be dead, but for His will, you aren't? I've been in a similar situation. Praise God you are healthy again. Thank you for your post.

Scriber, I was trying to take a picture of a beautiful
canyon, and I slip on some rocks lost control of my body, and by the time I stopped (an angel stopped me) I was within one body length of going over the cliff into the bottomless canyon below!

Mountain--I had a near-death experience in my early 20's...
It forever changed my outlook--and appreciation for--life.  Good luck.  Glad you made it!

Mountains Transfigure Our Lives
MountainClimber 56...thank you for connecting with me so quickly. There seems to be a very big life lesson here. I have learned my most humble life lessons in the mountains...seems that as Moses was transfigured on Mount Sainai, you were tranfigured, figuritively speaking, on your mountain. It is humbling to hear of your life-changing experience. I had a similar one as I slipped and fell down a waterfall...but managed to escape that incident without any injury, except a couple of bruises. I thank you for taking time to write...

MountainClimber

It seems that you met God on the mountain and that He gave you a message to share.   It is wonderful that you said, "Here am I.  Send me."

How beautiful on the mountains

are the feet of the messenger bringing good news,

Breaking the news that all's well,

proclaiming good times, announcing salvation,

that God reigns.

Isaiah 52:7
