There are also genetic causes for suffering, that I don't feel God is involved in. Our genes have been afflicted by original sin, and occasionally come up defective.

I read that God will only give you what you need and can handle.
Sometimes it seems harsh but he seems to know what he is doing.

I remember a long time ago ...I use to blame God for everything
that went on in my life...then somebody pointed out that most things are our own doing and that it is God helping you through..I no longer blame God, I blame myself.
