I'm very divided on the death penalty, seeing both sides and understanding the arguments of each. You've done a good job covering the AGAINST side of the issue. I have to admit that for perps of heinous crimes, where this is absolutely no doubt that they have done it. . . , you know, like somebody Dahmer, I would much rather get him off the planet, since he is a hindrance to society.

Dylan, Your compliments are always appreciated. The death penalty will
always be debated, but I don't think enough attention is paid to why it is wrong.

very compelling arguments! Bravo!
Perhaps the most ambitious argument was the appeal to sensitivity for the offender's family. The family is not at fault, so why should they have to suffer? Very interesting argument. Doesn't close the case, in and of itself, I think, but definitely worth mention.
You state the case very succinctly and well. Nice work!
