Georgia, The Lord loves you very much. He understands exactly how you feel
Remember he lived in our shoes while here on Earth.  I hope that is an encouragement to you.

What a thoughtful post this is, MandaLee!
I say one of two prayers in the morning, depending on how close or far away from God I feel when I wake up ... one is the Lord's Prayer, the other is the 23rd Psalm.  I haven't felt worthy of praying the latter in awhile, due to the phrase "Open my lips, oh Lord, and my mouth shall proclaim Your praise.  Create in me a clean heart, oh God, and renew a right spirit within me."  If  I've been away from God for whatever reason, I've felt guilty praying that prayer, and "default" to the Lord's Prayer, which is more of a "generic" thank you.  All of this rationalization must really give our Lord a good belly laugh!
