This make me think of a Wordsworth song.
It's called "guardian angel" and it is very sweet and touching.

Whew!
When it's your time, it's your time and I guess your time has NOT arrived yet!  I had  a spooky thing happen one time and there were two witnesses.  I had  car that should have t-boned  me go right through my car.   The two passengers were braced for the impact (an ancient old guy ran a red light; never even blinked).  We all felt it and saw it; we vaporized and he went through us.  Now it wasn't our time is the only way to 'splain that one.  We are all beholding to our higher power for  years now after that one.  Glad you're still blogging!

I had this happen once, so I know how it changes your perspective.
Good questions...

thank the Honda helpers you missed the suden interaction........

But you know the old saying, "A miss by an inch is as good as a mile."

Well I've just posted in my Pets column. This story is now transitioning into the Twilight zone.

I've edited a lot out but still seem to be too wordy.

The erotic stuff will come next post. I'm thinking of involving the farm animals in a humerous way.

I hope its not too boring, but somehow I always end up never being at aloss for words!

...giving it up that is,-
and no, Thomas, the bike isn't for sale yet!

Nanaroo,

It's been awhile since I've been on a bike, but I enjoy them myself.  Personally, riding bikes is just too dangerous in most cases because people in cars or trucks either don't see them or ignore them. I much rather go on trail then on the road. Shadow

Nanaroo
The days turn over dependably, the sun comes up and goes down, and we start feeling kind of permanent in this life.  A close call like the one you had today is scary, but valuable, in the sense that it brings value back into what may have been taken for granted yesterday.  Glad you squeaked out of that

thank you for your good wishes
...I didn't enjoy the 'brush' at all- I get plenty of thrills just from riding the bike!

Thank goodness you are ok:)
Bikers usually enjoy such brushes, gives them a thrill, but it is good to pause and reflect sometimes, as you have done here.

Hi Passionflower
No, I was really calm the whole rest of the trip today!  I guess I have a good attitude or something.  I am so cautious when I ride and I do everything humanly possible to ride safely.   I think my pilot training has really helped here because when you fly, you really confront the same kinds of things only on a larger scale.

ARe you worried or scared when you ride now?
