Mery Christmas to you.....thanks for stopping by...

I don't think they will succeed......and certainly think their efforts could be better spent working to save life around us.....

If those times are now at hand....I do not fear the prospect.....and would welcome the eventual outcome.

God Bless......

Are they God or they just think they are?
With all the due respect, in two months of blogging you have done quite well for yourself, I don't believe they will ever succeed to create a new form of life.  This is one of the most protected secrets of  God. Perhaps they can replace hands and organs from a human to another, make blood transfusion, but to invent a brain ...NEVER. When they will be able to do it it will be the end of the world, the Judgement day.  Although there are many signs of approaching Hour, still, the Earth didn't change its spinning direction so the Sun doesn't rise from West.  Indeed, there will be new forms of lives discovered until then but not created by humans.  One of those animals will be called dabla and it will very dangerous to the human.  AntiChrist is not yet manifest, although he is already here, among us. He has one artificial eye .He will be capable when he will become manifest, to bring rain at command, to bring food out of nowhere and many other things, that's why people will believe him a prophet or even Christ.  He will convert many humans to belief in him and he will mark them in their foreheads. Seams like a SF movie, isn't it? Before the Hour, Jesus would have defeated AntiChrist and would have brought all humans to the true religion, and would have lived as a ruler of the human kind for 40 years.  I hope you agree, no such signs yet. But keep on the good work. I have added you to my blog list of people.

Corbin--
Are synthetic humanoids next, with ten times the strength of a man, to fight the future wars we'll surely get ourselves into?

The dangers for me is that they could creat something that would, by accident, be very deadly.   I guess I watch too many movies.....

Corbin,

Mmmmm.....wonder what type of new species they will eventually come up with and how fast it will wipe out the human race. Too scary. Shadow

I don't know how I feel about that.. To me, and this is just my own gut feeling, it is a moral issue. I really have to think about it longer, but I am not leaning towards anything positive coming out of this!!

Corbin, I am very undecided on this and my thoughts seem to keep changing. At the moment, I am thinking that it has more cons than pros.

Remember the myth of Atlantis?  An advanced society that created new beings from scratch, which they called "Things."  They used their living 'things' for the 'benefit of mankind', of course.  You also remember what happened to Altlantis.  Fell into the sea.
