It,s all great.
I would like to be able to see all of the smiley logo thingy's without having to drag a corner of the square block down to see them all.
Is that possibly something with my own computer does anyone know?

good improvements. the one additon I might mention is an automatic entry
when someone clicks on your post so U can see who is doing all the clicking. This feature could be deactivated by preference.

I've been enjoying...
...all of the great changes around here.
I think that having an option where you can reverse the chronological order of a blog you're reading would be a great idea. The deficit might continue to be in traditional blog-style but that option would be there.
It would be nice to have a feature added where someone could refer potential new members by not only taking them to one of his/her blogs but, also, by taking them to a specific blog-entry that could either belong to that person or someone else.
Kudos!

Viewing a members blog in reverse chronological order.
I've been developing a memoir on Blogit since my first post when you guys were known as THE BLOGGING NETWORK. It was written chronogically. Many people have been interested in reading it as it was meant to be read, not from the most recent post, but from the oldest or first post forward, as I would publish it in book form.
It would be great for me if you could add this feature. Perhaps I'm not the only one.
In any case, I've written on several other blogging sites, and the user interface on Blogit is still my favorite.

Good additions. Can you add another feature? one where it is possible to
put together all the comments of each blogger just like it is possible to ascertain the payment distribution to writers?

Hurray for no more smiley central
Once again, how can one get back to the oldest version (no spell check, no moving emoticons)?

Re: A trifling matter here, but....
We are sorry the new toolbar doesn't work with Smiley Central. We have tried to address this by including the new larger, colorful emoticons as well as the smaller emoticons that were available via the old toolbar.
We will see what else we can do to continue to provide a more diverse group of emoticons.
Thank you.

A trifling matter here, but....
Are there any emoticons that will work with the new setup? I notice that Smiley Central does not work with this new system. This is
very bad news for an emoticon addict such as myself.

Dear Brian & the Blogit Team....
It's been brought to my attention that you've left out one very important category. You're missing one for SINGLES. I see that we can post under Relationships, or Family & Parenting. There's even a home for Gay & Lesbian. But what about Single people? Why are they left out?
This seems to clearly be an oversight. Wouldn't you agree?
Blogit has been a virtual meeting ground at times. It could really only benefit your ad campaign if you developed an area where single writers can meet and share their thoughts.
The rest of the categories look great! I do wish that the "Add Comment" button had stayed on the right side of the page, but we'll all get used to it.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Brian & Blogit Team
As already mentioned this was a big surprise as I was clicking to go make a comment during our little "happy hour" - SURPRISE! - and my poor old brain froze up. LOL. I like the change for sure as it provides more buttons to play with, (personally, I don't use 90% of them myself). Now if I can remember that the "make comment" button is now on the left instead of the right, I'll be manufacturing at top speed again.
"HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO OUR BLOGIT TEAM"!

I think these are excellent changes
I think the new categories (especially education) are great! I think the use of the new software for posting and comments works wonderfully!
Setting the default to emphasize "freshest content" rather than "most frequently read" was also a good move for many reasons -- I should encourage people to write and post more frequently, and "popularity" does not necessarily mean "well written," more often than not it means being part of a clique of bloggers and therefore favored those who use Blogit as virtual community over those who use Blogit for other purposes such as writing and exploring ideas (not to suggest that the former and the latter are mutually exclusive, of course).
Blogit has made excellent changes. Also, I appreciate the fact that Blogit allows one to continue to revise (or delete) previous posts. As we all know, writing is in the revision.

Brian
Brian...these improvements are good, I had seen where they were requested in Community, but it sure didn't take you long to answer! Great job..Now Brian, please remember for future reference, many of us tend to banter and cut up ( especially on Friday)...as well we usually have a few drinks. The timing (6 pmEST, close nuff) of the release on the upgrades made a few of us (not me of course, lol) think someone had spiked the drinks. It's all good! We had a ball!
You have a very Merry Christmas and take it from the worst speller on the block, you have come through on this one! Thanks, Sally
