Thanks for dropping in.

You might also like to read the comment that I've just sent Flightpath, about the use of beehive products in the treatment of illness. It's a fascinating subject, on which I might well do a post at some future date.

Thank you for your comment.

One sometimes wonders how many wonderful, and effective substances there are out there of which medical science knows little or nothing.

Thank you for calling in. Many people keep an Aloe plant ( often known as The Burn Plant )for that, and other purposes, but, as I pointed out in my post, they do not grow in the temperate zone, so the gel has to be bought.

Flight

Thanks for your comment.

We only have several Aloe Vera plants for display purposes, when Lady Ariela does presentations of our products. We are Manager/Distributors for the world's leading growers and manufacturers of Aloe Vera products. They are also the world's biggest manufacturer of beehive products, such as honey, Royal Jelly, bee propolis and bee pollen.

Propolis is used by bees to line their hives, and is a powerful and effective natural antibiotic, with no known side effects. It is extremely good for warding off colds, and if one already has one, greatly ameliorating its symptoms. Pollen is very good for extra energy, and to strengthen the body's immune system.

I think that drugs should be the last, not the first, resort in the treatment of illness.

Ariel70,
Very useful info. I absorbed about half.  I'll be back to "digest" the rest later.  I do like keeping an aloe (although I don't currently) for burns and sunburns. Very handy stuff, but more usefull than I realized.

Excellent information, Ariel70. Do you have Aloe plants growing near your home?
