those store galloping fools
they were shown on the TV here in Australia busting through the doors and stampeding. There really were fist fights and not an XBox in sight!

I didn't leave the house until 3:00 p.m. today, and that was only because I had to go cash my check.  I simply DON'T do crowds and can't fathom getting up at the crack of ANYTHING to save a few bucks or load up on anymore presents.  I hate shopping ANYTIME of the year.  Yack!!!!!!!!!!  How many days til' summer?

I had to work our SPCA holiday adoption "store" today, which is in one of the busiest malls in Dallas. Yikes!  What was I thinking when I signed up? Actually it wasn't that bad.  But I think I've gained 10 pounds in the last few days. Yuck.

Abosutely the worse shopping day.

Imagine the gaseous-aroma in a tight filled elevator. Worse even, imagine going up the escalator, cheek to nose proximity, and the person on the steps above you is having troubles digesting last night's Thanksgiving dinner.  You are doomed when the stench hits your olfactory system. That's when flatulation turns to vomit....

By the way, how are you processing Thanksgiving?  MUAH ..Mel 143

Cunning,

I'm with the understanding that about 95% of all the men wait until Christmas Eve to do their shopping. LOL Shadow

Cunning,

Gift bags. Mmmm.......that would get really expensive, but be a lot simplier. Too bad the stores don't include wrapping the gift when you purchase it, then we could all get back and relax. LOL Shadow

gift bags!  No need to thank me.  My words of wisdom come not from a burning bush (yeast infection?) but from noble laziness, which is the mother of invention.

well, everybody must be done shopping by Christmas Eve.  Only an idiot would be Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve.  So I figure that'll be a good time for me.

Cunning,

I'll just avoid all the shoppers and hit Wal-Mart at 3am on a weekday night between now and December 21st. Why December 21st you ask? I'm the world's worst at wrapping gifts. It takes me three hours to wrap one present. LOL Shadow

Ariala

I'm good at preparing for the future.  For instance, I'm going to prepare for the future someday.  Eventually.  You see?

Thanks for the click.
