I think your poem was wonderfully well written, but also very sad that a little girl would blame herself for her dad not being man enough to stay and see his little girl grow up into the wonderful woman that I am sure she would become.

It seems like I've read this one before, but it is very good and worth rereading.

It is easy to see how little girls can shame themselves and grow up thinking that they are deserving of the men they get involved with.
