Somewhere deep in the depths of my memory I think that there was certificate they used to award at my primary school "for trying". I recieved a white ribbon for coming 4th in a swimming race that had 4 contestants. I was a long way behind the others but I did my best. I guess in a long winded way I'm trying to say that I can relate to this piece.

One's best can be measured only by that one's self and should be appreciated by all else.
Very nice post, Quirky.

There is never enough being said or done when we have regrets over what might have been.
Congrats! You've got it for the chewing gum!

The best always must be good enough. Hammer it out in a poem, though, and sometimes it gets easier. |

This is very nice! Our Best is all we cn do and if we can remember the beauty of love and nature then we all have a reason to awake in the morning.
