- Go to The Importance of Underwear
You could save the expense
of washing half a load a week if you'd just go commando. I'm sure the ER folks have bets on that, too. But more importantly, since you've moved to the country, have you learned to wear white socks with everything? That's the true indicator of a country boy... Nice suit, white shirt & tie, polished shoes, white socks :)

I can't wait to see what happens next!!!
That said, (CPNFESSION!!!) I ALWAYS hang on to my undies for too long. I have TWO such pair that should be tossed, but are LOW RISE style and therefore accommodate my plethora of low rise pants! I know I should just buy new ones, but I am serious--none have fit quite so good as these! What's a person to do??? (Besides wait for Joe_Love's next installment...???) ;) ~LB~ xo

I'm a tad more picky about my underwear collection, though while asleep, I am um, free...lol.

Once again you leave me waiting with bated breath for the rest of the story... However I'm already glad I have my own washing machine and no one gets to see my underwear (except my son, but he doesn't count).

Joe_Love,
I have a sinking feeling I know where this is going. I have laundromats. I refuse to leave my washer/dryer behind rather than going back to the days of strangers ogling my undies, possibly fondling them as they pull them out of the dryer and leave them strewn around the damned laundry for the whole world to see. *deep breath*. It's okay, I feel better now...but like Joan Crawford said, "NO MORE LAUNDROMATS...'er wait.

Joe,
As kids here, we're coached to always wear good underwear, just in case you have an accident and have to go to the hospital. Even today, that thought is foremost in my mind when I select my underthings. It wouldn't do to be stripped at the hospital and be found wearing holey drawers.

Joe,
Mmmmm........well, I've seen all on the men and I must say those boxers with the hearts really are special. O.K. who's going to try and steal your laundry here? I hate laundry mats, especially in college towns. Men always are eye balling girls undies and then making hushed comments that are not very pleasing to us girls ears because they don't realize that their hush is loud enough to wake the dead. i, too, wear underwear until they disintegrate.
who cares? no one sees them. unless you happen to get laid. but if you're to the point where the person is seeing you with no pants, usually you're in far enough that they won't back off because of old underwear.
it's a gamble, but i haven't lost yet.

I haven't seen a pair of tighty whiteys in so long I'm not sure how I would react to them. Hubby wears bikini brief, in multiple colors. I would prefer to see him in boxers!

I'm with Malc. You need belief in your briefs. Maybe it's an Englishman thing.

I don't like boxers
I much prefer to be held tight. I suppose that's why I'm an Englishman?

Direct From the TMI Department:
After decades of tightey-whiteys (tired of the ole Homer Simpson look), gone to boxer/briefs (never liked straight boxers. Too much of that "born free" feeling, if you know what I mean).

Sounds possibly juicy there, Joe Love.....
I like when you re-live your penthouse days...I love big city stories... I think men look so sexy in boxers. I don't know what it is about them, but they are traditional and gentlemanly....I look forward to the conclusion here.
