Her leprous skin the colour of milk

To the touch the texture of silk

To touch too much is to die

Warm in the glow of her evil eye.

Nothing ventured nothing failed.

Sorry, Ariel, I'm not much of a poet!

Ariel70...this is all I could come up with...didn't know if you wanted

multiple stanzas to end it our just one.  Here's my thoughts...

Tattered structure upon her skin;

crystal amulet below her chin

hung down upon her fertile breast

where souls of fools lay down to rest

Arachne, never true to love

to fools, to crooks, to vagabonds

consumes the will and breadth of man

She stands before me, bathed in red

A demanding nuance broad of fire

Resolve amidst demon desire

She hovers up atop the flame

Evils hide within her name.

Beware the fair

It's but a lair.

Return to Spain,

Relieve your pain!!

Ariel70 offers a challenge...dang it. I need to put a 3rd coat of paint
on my foyer walls.  Shoot.   Write?  Paint?  Write?  Paint?  Okay...I accept the challenge.  What a great idea, Ariel 70.
