Perfect picture. I've worked with reservist-this is not what they were expecting. In fact....uh, oh, here I go up on my soapbox in the "Humor" section. Keep smilin'!

I wouldn't let the criticism get me down. I'm not an abstract art fan, myself, BUT your idea of exhibiting them as a collection of art by a painter seperated from her husband (during war) sounds like a winner to me!!

Yeah, it reminds of a picture I saw in a truck overseas.

It really IS a handy little expression, isn't it? Anyway, I wish I had the talent and vision you speak of. Even though I'm probably like your husband who turns things sideways "so it looks like something" (or stare at it long enough that it will be like one of those 3D paintings), I admire people who can express themselves much more vividly than what you'd find on the back of a cereal box.
Not for nothin' but...an EIGHTEEN month deployments!? Yikes!! I thought seven months on an aircraft carrier (which we called "giant gray quaaludes") was bad!

Oh
I am sure it is important to others. Where do we see examples of your work?
I think I live in a bubble.
I can write and draw for days with out interaction and then there comes a time when sharing is essential.
I am interested in knowing how many Art or Creative Arts Therapists are here actually. As you can tell many writers here use there work for healing purposes.
