Cunninglinguist,
I've wondered about this myself. How come I keep meeting the same 16 people in the coffee shop down the street?  What am I supposed to learn from this, if anything?  Why do shows that have only aired 3 times go into reruns?  Why, dammit, why?

If there are only 16 on earth then why are there so many of them bothering me lately?

Damn. You didn't mention this being a repost, so I think I am having deja vu again.  Make it stop!!!!!!

Cunning,
That may mean there are many soul mates, permutations of clones, infinite numbers of siblings etc. Scary thoughts!

Cunning--shirley you are not under the misconception that I am

good and pure? hahahahahahahahahaha--got you fooled bucko! Now you know better than that. Stop spreading ugly rumors. And quit sucking up--I already love you bunches.

Am glad I don't resemble Pippi though--she was kind of homely.

Wow!  Hey, can you do September 15th?  Or tell me how to do it?  Lol thank you.  Very much.

You asked for it, so here it is Cunning, hope you like it
Being born on the 12th day of the month (3 energy) is likely to add a good bit of vitality to your life. The energy of 3 allows you bounce back rapidly from setbacks, physical or mental. There is a restlessness in your nature, but you seem to be able to portray an easygoing, sometimes "couldn't care less" attitude. You have a natural ability to express yourself in public, and you always make a very good impression. Good with words, you excel in writing, speaking, and possibly singing. You are energetic and always a good conversationalist. You have a keen imagination, but you tend to scatter your energies and become involved with too may superficial matters. Your mind is practical and rational despite this tendency to jump about. You are affectionate and loving - but very sensitive. You are subject to rapid ups and downs.

I really don't believe that we come back as cats (unless it's like BlackCat30), because human beings are more evolved --*cough* most human beings -- than animals.  There's more Lifeforce in animals than in plants, for instance.  So I don't think your brother is going to be your cat unless he takes a major step backwards in the evolutionary process of the soul.  This is all just far-fetched speculation on my part, I know, but this is what I think.

Thanks for tuning in.

Now that is quite a concept
I do believe in reincarnation, and I do believe that people from your past lives are around you in some way or other in this life. Your brother may now be your cat, and your boss might have been your wife, and so on. Its not as deep as your thinking, but you get the point.

Cosy

I need to catch up on what my friends are doing today; falling a little bit behind here, so I haven't got around to checking your post. I'm curious to know why you're worried today.

The 16 is just an arbitrary number I came to. There is no scientific basis for any of this. Strictly entertainment purposes and throwing ideas around in my strange head.

hope everything is okay.

Harvey was a big, imaginary rabbit.  As far as redheads go, you have to be the exception to the rule.  There are random redheads sprinkled throughout the universe who are good and pure just to throw us off when we come face to face with the evil Pippi Longstocking.

Krisles

Is there a web page I can go to that will explain all this to me? (keep in mind I'm a simple mind.) I just had my chalkboard out doing your equations and whatnot. I just wanted to feel like Russel Crow in 'A Beautiful Mind' but now I just have a blackboard with little hangman figures on it -- go figure.

Just so you know I'm OCDC, I'm going to read and reread this several times until I'm thoroughly satisfied with The Theory of We's All Relatives. Thank you for your time.

Hi CunningL...our Lt. Dang.......Interesting thoughts.....
I like Krisles' astrological anlaysis to your post, as well. Yeah, I think we are always attracted to a certain type. And ok, we beat our heads against the wall more times than not. Maybe it has to do with the way our planets were set up at the time of birth...Sheesh, now I sound bizarre...

what is that 16 all about? more info please...are you pulling my leg or did someone classify the world into 16 types of souls? sorry a bit slow and worried today...

I think you may, quite possibly, for sure, definitely, probably be onto something here.....sort of one of those hedging days .....and tell Melody that if she is up to doing the math....that she might consider that many astrologists consider the ascendant as important as sun sign....and that the moon is very powerful, as well.  So, hypothetically, if one were to consider all the variables involved of sun+ascendant+moon and since there are 12 of each, that is way beyond my mathmatical capabilities (where's Argus)....or even if you wanted to use just the two most powerful influences, sun+ascendant.....that gives you more basic souls to work with, which really does make more sense....especially if they keep landing in different houses of the zodiac to work out their issues -- well, now that I have completely exposed my weird side....I'd better step out....and btw, I have a helluva lot of red in my hair.....*grin*

If there are only 16 types, then is that why some people are diagnosed with split or multiple personalities maybe? Shadow

I agree. I do believe in reincarnation though. I think that people we have known in past lives can affect how we feel about people in this lifetime. I also think that jung archetypes play into this somehow. I did a term paper on this in college. Lol! I have the same personality type as the cartoon character Hobbs in Calvin and Hobbs. I have no idea how they figured that one out!

By the way, you were one of the people in my dream last night. Did you by any chance go to Kansas City?

It could be that most people I like are me.  I'm so self-absorbed I must have been a maxi pad in a previous life. :-)

I'm still feeling kind of blah.  Seems that everyone around me is, but that shouldn't be surprising, because everyone around me IS ME.

Familiarity breeds contempt.  The 16 souls was an arbitrary guesstimate - this isn't an actual scientific study or anything - but I would think the number would be small and manageable.  Melody says 16 is too many; there are probably only 12, according to her.  Because of the zodiac.  Anyway, is just a thought I had.  Sure feels this way sometimes.

thanks for reading my off the wall theories ;-)

I've always agreed with you
on this, except I can't limit them to such a small number.  People do, of course come in "types".  I see people I used to know--or still do--everywhere I go.  Cunning, if there are only sixteen types, they must be in constant conflict.  Otherwise, how could we have so much war and cruelty?  Hemlocker
