I'm not going "well good for you" you. I would like, instead, to remind you to take a good look at your children. And to always remember what is really important in life.

Hi Symphony,
Well said. I've been thinking along the same lines, about putting the past in perspective. I'm not Jewish, but it seems appropriate that two weeks ago Rosh Hashanah started for a week and ended with Yom Kippur, the Jewish New Year. I've been told that during that week, Jewish people reflect on their lives, mistakes made, and apologize to the ones they've offended and to God, and throw stones into a lake, river or ocean to symbolize casting the past away and making a new start.
I'm back on Blogit, as Blanche Dubois, I left 4 months ago in July as MaryX. I didn't think then I'd be back, but Blogit definitely fills a need for reflecting, writing, and commenting, but I've decided to make changes in my approach and come back with fresh eyes and a new attitude. So, here's to the New Year and making positive choices! Cheers!

I'm always impressed by people who don't allow themselves to become trapped in a rut. Everything you said in your post tells me you're not one of those people. You're right -- why wait till January? Good for you!

To see where you are as it relates to where you came from is such a great success. You will be far more successful in the next twenty years. I know you can do what you set out to do you are already an example of that. BB

Of course there is, Symphony, and I didn't mean to imply that there isn't..
You seem to have a lot going for you. I just meant that the kids are so special and they so need their mom. You know I think you're wonderful.

Wow!
Great post! About six months ago I stopped putting things off and I've gotten so much accomplished. Of course, free time is limited now but I feel like I'm going somewhere. There is so much I still want and need to do, but I'm getting there...

Hi, Symphony, glad you're full of piss & vinegar again!.....
You're tearing things up! Well, take it slow and don't forget being a 'mum" is your most-important job! There's no way around it, Honey! Your turn comes when you have them raised and out of the house. You know you're a good mom, Symphony! My children are 40 & 38 and they are still my babies.
So glad you are better and wanting for change. Good luck with it!
