But many reports mentioned Al's hands........how they were covered with calluses from when he chopped tobacco on the farm......

Actually we Tennesseans are smarter than that. Cousin Al hasn't shown us much positive reflection over the years. He's been too busy sniffing up the Washington big timers and leaving us to fend for ourselves. It also didn't help when he and his family were marked as "slum lords" over a rental property dispute a few years back. Not to say at one time Al did show interest in his home state, but it was when he was a still unknown and attempting to move up the ladder era. Actually, the man has spent the majority of his life in Washington, not Tennessee and could never really be considered by the majority as one of our favorite sons. Shadow
