                    Seriously everyone...

Feel free to ask car questions, I will be up front with you and tell you right now I don't know everything.  Oh, and never mind the occasional smart assed remark, can't seem to help it!  You would be suprised at what you can do yourself.

Hey do I look like Martha Freakin' Stewart in the garage?  Wait, maybe that's a good thing!  Bring your car right on over, no insider trading though.

Most shops should check it for a minimal charge.  There are anti freeze testers, however if your vehicle is new enough it might contain the newer type of coolant that requires a special device that is relatively expensive.  Now I am confused but on older cars the testers sell for around $10 for a good one.  With the car cool, find the coolant recovery tank (usually marked on the fill cap) and suck enough fluid in to read the device and there you have it.  If it is low on antifreeze, I'd suggest seeing a shop, some of the new cars are a bear to fill.
