Funny how problems like the "bad boy" seem to take care of themselves. I bet it WAS a good day for Carl.
I enjoy your blog very much. Feels like I have members of my family dealing with the war in Iraq (on a personal level), and when I read your entries, it's as if I'm at your kitchen table having a cup of coffee, and you're filling me in on the goings-on with you and your husband.

He is very lucky, I have seen time and time again when those two put their troops first. It makes a huge difference in the morale.

I don't know what the man's problem is but I am grateful that it won't be effecting Carl any longer.

Good!
Take a break and relax in a spa with a Martini. Thanks for your help by the way. You mean a lot to me!

Glad to hear it ended well.
It's amazing what one asshat can do to a team. Carl has handled himself well, and thankfully, has officers who have his back.

MW,
I'm happy that situation sorted itself out. I was going to say that the problem the person has with your husband is a simple case of the old green eyed monster. I see it everyday at work. There are those who try to undermine others simply because they have no way of coping with their own inadequacies. If you look at the situation closely, these troublemakers are not usually well-liked and the best remedy is exposure. Oh, and they manage to do that all by themselves, just as in this case. The way I cope is to deal with situations as calmly as I can and realize why they do what they do and move on.
