yes I know what you mean. We don't always like what we hear, we want him to say something different. But it is as it should be.

Quirky,
Yes I do mean "God", He says things all the time. I guess if I would not try to alter our conversation I would probably find more peace within myself. It is my own stuborness that doesn't want to listen sometimes.

you are so right--but some people limit themselves in thinking that God can only be on one channel, and anything else is an imposter or a demon. From my experiences, I can say that is not true.

Great post and when I get more focus, I want to come back and read the other one you reference in it. Georgia's comment pretty much sums up what I would say about the whole situation so can I just say "ditto"? I read Cayce a long time ago....found it fascinating stuff.

In my (totally human) estimation, we go wrong iwhen we don't stay tuned to God's divine "channel" . To me, it's not about the struggle not to tune God in, but instead how to stop tuning God out. God is always on. We, in our technologically "advanced" world, keep finding ways to change the frequency. My 2 cents! Thanks for a thought-provoking post!

I'd love for you to channel and publish it. This is the kind of thing I absorb really well. You may be a messenger indeed. We cannot get enough of this out there and people love reading it. Disregard what fear calls it. This has been one of my biggest lessons. I grew up in a traditional Christian environment. Imagine! My desire to understand quelled by such rigid, authoritative structure. But, I see now how it all has come to enable me to be able to see.

no--that was the point of what I was trying to say, it's not an insult because it is out of your conscious control--like divine intervention. If you were meant to understand it, because of where you are on your own spiritual path, then you would have. But you didn't, so that is as it should be.

Quirky,
Like you stated, in Indian mythologies, both the gods and demons have the same qualities in terms of mystic powers the only thing being used for good or bad. Being used for bad makes them the demons they are.
Even in the most prolific story of Ramayan, the story of Rama, the villain Ravana is supposed to be a greatest devotee.
So it goes....

Fascinating Quirky
Never heard of the man or book, but I've read Edgar Cayce's works quite heavily. He was a very devoutly religious man who healed many through God's power and channeling. I will check out buying this book, for in my years believing God speaks and teaches through ways not accepted by all who have faith, I've never, ever felt a breath of evil or sense of wrong. Only peace and the ancient heavenly wisdoms. Thanks for sharing this.

I can't take anyone seriously who
writes a book claiming he got his information straight from God. I suspect a lot of people share common beliefs that are not the mainstream ones. Let's face it, some things are things that humans want to believe.

I own that book!!!! When I was in the pits of pits and totally out of faith that book really hit me hard across the head and woke the hell out of me. Now, I don't believe he is God or neither anyone else, but God has many ways to intervine divinely and that may well be one way. Now, how can such noble and beautiful words be from a demonic source???? Sorry, no can do.
