Strat,
It sure is a bitch. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy. I feel like I'm being electricuted a few times a day. Yikes. Anyway, I have missed you in particular cause I haven't been able to read my regulars as much. I promise to catch up this weekend.

JJ,
I don't wanna wear one of those thingies. I don't want to draw that attention to myself and have to answer all the questions. It's enough that many clients have asked me what's wrong cause I move really slow! Um, anyway, what else did you ask? Oh yeah, no, I don't know how it happened. My doctor said it could be something underlying from my dance/gymnastics days and then with age (cough cough) you don't use those muscles as much and they become vulnerable to injury. I just woke up on morning about 4 weeks ago and it got progressively worse. I think it's starting to get better now. Finally!

Damn, Young Miss!
I must have missed something -- didn't realize you were in such pain.

Hope it gets better soon. That's a bitch!

Spiffie,

Find out about a traction collar for you neck.  You might not have to wear it 24/7.  They look really good, too.  I knew a biker who dove into the shallow end of someone's pool at a biker party.  I'm sure he was stoned on smack when he did it, but then he got to wear one of those collars 24/7 for about three months.  It really looked good on him, but he was about 6'8'' and skinny as a bean pole.  And bikers like to wear stuff like that because it gives them that ''Lookin' Bad'' appearance.  You probably wouldn't like it, but you might not have to wear it all day.  Did you injure your neck at some time, or are you just coming unraveled?   jj

Temple,
Yeah, but this is only one of the many things I have pondered while lying flat on my back in bed...bored to tears. However, these things will swirl through my mind regardless of any injury. This injury has only given me more time to ponder such things.

I think Michael has that disease....I can't think of the name of it...
Body dismorphic...dismorphia....something, where they look in the mirror and think they are hideous, disformed even.  I've seen documentaries about other people that do what he did to himself, in other ways -- and the same ways (plastic surgery).  One woman destroyed her nose like he did, to the point of collapse.  It's really sad.  The things he went through as a kid, being told by his parents and family and church (of Latter Day Saints I believe -- which is very sexually repressed -- no offense to anyone) that if you are sexually active you are going to hell, etc.  Then, he would be on tour with his family and be in the room with his non-married brothers as they had sex, with his Dad as he had sex with other women, and his Mom used to try and force him on girls/women because you can NOT be gay in this church and they were afraid he was.  I think he was just scared to death of women....or maybe he was gay....either way....he has problems.  Not to excuse his behavior with children, and he is very odd, but in some way it's really sad.  No one ever tells him no, so he has no concept of reality (obviously).  The crayon concept is interesting.  Is this what you were thinking about while you were laying there on your back staring at the ceiling all of this time?

Good god girl, take good care of yourself!  Neck injuries are nothing to mess around with!

Quirky,
I beg to differ on the MJ thing. IMO, he is a freak. Now, I know he has a skin disease and many think he lightened himself on purpose, but I know that's not true. However, the rest of it was all his own doing. He turned himself into a freakazoid. Yick. And what's with the surgical mask??

back pain is a hideous thing...one of the worst...but you really shouldn't pick on Michael--yes, he's seriously messed up,  however he can't help it!
