I too draw heavily from my own life, my own experiences when writing fiction. Not enough to consider it "autobiographical," but the similarities are impossible to ignore. Characters are amalgamations of people I've known, situations extrapolated from thoughts of what could have been, all injected with a healthy dose of reality-based imagination. Any and every thing I see, feel, experience is absorbed, processed and has the potential of winding up a paragraph on some page. In a sense, I'm doing far more than simply telling a story.
