You can't blame a mother for protecting her young -- not if you are
sensible, that is.

My grandma was attacked by Pelicans once.
I think the pelicans thought she had food.  She had to kick her way out the swarm. I never imagined Pelicans to be aggressive.  Take care

Uh-oh.  Did somebody scramble it for breakfast?

I was nearly wetting myself thinking about you swinging a bat at the goose!

Oh, I confess! Not to that though...

I confess I hate geese. They are dirty and nasty and try to bite the hands of cmall children who try to feed them. (Bad memories...)

Secondly- I'd really loooove to see pictures of you shooing the goose!

Quite interesting was your piece. But why we won't talk about it again if it is that interesting?

How cute
She just enjoys your company. I think that she is testing you. She knows you wouldn't actually hurt her. I am laughing at the picture of you being hissed at, that is just too funny!

I would have paid good money...

Don't mess with geese or swans.
They're reincarnated spitting cobras.

A goose mystery!! Despite your ill will and attempted violence against this young mother, I hope that nothing bad has befallen the poor innocent baby. Its hard to hate something that defenseless until it morphs into its meaner mother.

My dear Joe..What if you moved the eggs to another location?
Would Mama Goose freak? Or would she politely go to where the new nest is? I'm a small city gal, so I know little about the farm and the barnyard animals....Funny piece, though. "Ya Don't Mess Around With Joe."

I can't imagine why she didn't get your message.
Maybe you can tell her...."Stop hisssing and I'll stop chasing you!" Let us know if you figure out where the egg went.

Joe
What a comical scene, you chasing the goose down to the water with the bat, only to have her climb out and waddle along behind you to commence the whole process again...and again...  haha!

JoeLove......
Swan I didn't think that you would harm the goose.. I would have loved to have seen the spectacle you made  I hope it wasn't a snake that got the egg.
