Those shades
can be beautiful if we allow them.

Quirkyalone
In many instances, understanding another's point of view/filter is impossible. For example, I'll never truly understand what it's like to give birth to a child. Others will never truly understand what it's like being a minority, etc. The failure to understanding another's filter really isn't what's important. It's acknowledging it, accepting it, and not trying to force others to adopt your own.

Nice metaphor. You extended the idea of filters really well. And, like all good imagery, it sits well with the subject matter. Good post.

Quirky,

That reminds me I need to take my old filter out and clean it, hehe. Normally, it runs mostly in rainbow colors, but I noticed its been gray with tinges of black and white for a couple of days now. Shadow

As long as we can agree that I'm always right, you can use whatever
facking color you want...

Quirky--
There is no black and white, but there ain't no million shades of blue, green, red and purple either.  That's one of the reasons "conservatives" keep beating up on "liberals".  Hemlocker

I think it's better to see in shades of grey... or blue... or whatever
color you choose.  It's all good.
