We've never been able to afford him, Pat_B, but a helluva lot of neocons
and scared morons, not to mention religious rightists put him back in office.  And don't worry, we've already mobilized the Islamic world.  How far is yet to be seen.  And another attack on another Muslim country will only make matters worse, not alleviate the tense situation that already exists, regardless if we stop the Iranians from acquiring a nuclear weapon or not.  You don't need a nuclear warhead to fight a war.

And that's not all
There are other Islamic countries that could be mobilized to unite if Bush decides to widen his "war on terror." What a cosmic stupid joke!  Our compassionate conservative with his good old boy mannerisms and sly grin is about to put our "money" where his mouth is again. We really can't afford him.

Loud-n-Proud: He already has. Iranians have already agreed to help

train Iraqi paramilitary units.  And deep down, there is not one Muslim on this planet that wants infidels in the second most holy territory on Earth.  If Bush invades Iran, he will only strengthen the Islamist extremists' arguments that Bush is making war on all Muslims, also strengthening their resolve to continue a defensive jihad.  The Bush administration is failing to learn to know its enemy -- or simply doesn't care.  I believe it is the latter.

Actually he is just trying to finally get what he wants.....
By threatening Iran, Bush may finally get what he wants.... Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq! Then e can say he was right about his reasons for the invasion! Iran is working on them now. I am sure they will lend Iraq a few when they are ready. Bush "the great uniter" may be the catalyst the unites Iran and Iraq against a common enemy.
