I slept with the shirt and hte pillow case last night.. it was exactly (almost) the comfort I needed.

BTW, just wondering if you ever saw the pix I left on my iceberg comments page for you. I still haven't found the two I really want, but there are a few others from that trip that I posted for you in the meantime. let me tell you
from experience. although i've never been deployed, i've been secluded in some god forsaken training area for months and months at a time in many different instances. having someone actually caring that you're gone is a huge, huge motivator, and it makes the time go by much more pleasantly (but perhaps a little slower). i bet just thinking about you is making his time a lot easier (or harder...but a nice harder).
i can tell by the way that you write about him that he is one heck of a lucky guy.
i've got no one waiting for me for the duration of my time in fort mccoy, but maybe someday i'll hold down a relationship for more than a nanosecond. anythings possible.

The pillowcases we have done from the beginning. Neither of us likes to sleep without the other, so this has always helped the both of us. He gets mine, I get his.

He is a good one for storingtidbits of information and never forgetting. I had forgotten about even mentioning the black pearls. He remembered the day I stopped outside of a jewelry store and looked at some. I told him then I had always wanted some. He never forgot. So, yes, you are very right, what he sent speaks volumes.
