There are anything else but really hot days over there.  The temp is ranging around 120 and higher these days.

Justso

I sure hope you are right because I am not a happy camper tonight. I want my stuff!!!  Actually, I would settle for him just getting his computer and then I would be happy to wait another day or so for my package.

I'm sorry. Maybe it will be there in both cases tomorrow. I hope so!

Wiley

I have a grip...the mail lady will either give it to  me tommorow or run me over with her truck

It's been 9 months since he has been gone this is as close as I get to having him here....believe me, patience is not something that happens in these cases.  I was calm and patient for a whole 7 days...ask me if I care that they have had a sandstorm over there LOL!

MoonDawg

The t-shirt is very likely military issue BDU/DCU t-shirt.... LOL!  The pillow case...the military does not issue pillow cases in Iraq...isn't the generous of them?

I hope that neither of these
items are military issue. You know how the govenment is, it's ok for them to waste millions on anything imaginable, but you best not steal a t shirt or pillow case for them or it might be hard time in Levenworth.

Gawd! i do so feel for you...

I know how anxious you must be...but you know you'll get your package in a day or two as will he. Now take a deep breath, close your eyes and recall what he smells and looks like.

(PS--I'm a 'smell-person' too. Last week when Brad spent the night, I held off showering till the last possible moment cuz I loved the way he smelled on me so much.)

We have done this from the very beginning of the deployment.  Some of those pillow cases are pretty rough when they arrive because I use it first and then send it to him.  He send it back to me and I don't wash it till I get another one.  I owuldnt trade them for anything in this world.

Usual And Quirky

Quirky said it best:  Patience is TORTURE!  Screw virtue...I want it NOW!!!!!!!!!!  yesterday would be better.

I'm not a patient person by nature either...waiting would be torture. If you sent it via post office, thank goodness it's insured!!

Ahhh....
the sweetest scent is always on the man you love. Oh, and patience is a virtue...and one I don't have, btw. Hope it arrives soon, for both of you!
