Joe
That is an AWESOME thing to do.  Trust me it doesn't take much, just knowing that what our spouses do matters enough to someone else makes all the difference in the world.

Wonderful story, Wifey.
I do thank you for the story. . , because I'm going to steal the idea and do something nice for somebody whose spouse in Iraq. As always, it's nice to be able to read how the war effects people. . , other than those abroad.

Imagine how I felt!  I'm a little on edge with my emotions today and then this man has to go and do something NICE!!!  I have to admit as harsh as my opinion can be of the world, I tend to find myself floored by some when they do stuff like this.

Okay, Military Wife...Now you've done it.
You made this weird, salty-like liquid stuff fill up in my eyes. That doesn't happen very often. Can you give me some sort of warning next time?

MoonDawg

The recognition is the very least you are owed.  I have always had a special place in my heart for Vet's...of any conflict.  This past year has given me some amazing men in my life....99% are Vietnam Vets whom without I would have been lost.  I owe much more than any of you can ever possibly owe me.

I remember a man who
bought me a meal at an airport while I was on my way home after my return from Vietnam. That man made a whole lot better impression on me that the protestors as the airport calling me a baby killer. I hope that the American people will never forget the shame that they put upon us Vietnam veterans and will always remember it's the soldiers who fight the wars, right or wrong that protect them and their families at the risk of their own lives. Thanks for your recoginiton.
