Thank you.  I tend to think I am the lucky one.

Tell him not to slouch next time! LOL  All kidding aside, what a handsome guy.  And what a lucky guy to have such a loving wife waiting at home.

I think we all live with the knot in our stomach waiting for the next call.  Right now there is a rumor (mind you, this has not been confirmed by any source I trust) that our unit will come home in December and be in Afghanistan 90 days after.  The concept of letting him go again, tears my heart out.

Please know Joey will be in my prayers.

Military Wife,

Thanks for posting a picture of your husband.  He's a nice looking man.  Last January our son, Joey, came home from Iraq and, though we hope he will never have to go back, he probably will.  I pray for your husband and all those who are over there every single day.  Certainly, my prayers are with your husband.

My prayers will be with your daughter.  This is never an easy thing but somehow, we manage to make it through and for many we are stronger in our relationships because of it.

Hello Military_Wife,
You have a fine looking man there and he has one wonderful wife!  I think it is so wonderful that the guys are going to have laptops, for communication with their loving families is so important.  My precious daughter's husband is now also in Iraq, and she breaths for the time he can come home. It is truely, true love.  I hurt knowing she misses and needs the man she loves so much.  So, when I read the way you stand behind your husband it makes me so happy.  Give him my blessings and I appreciate all the sacrifices our men give and the sacrifices of their families. It is always difficult for families to be separated. Be safe and thank you for posting.  jacenta
