I am the opposite. I love raw celery (sans strings, I already have dental floss, thank you) but I cannot STAND it cooked, because it STILL crunches. I dunno. Weirdo here.

I hate it, too.
Raw or cooked, it's yucky. And those strings! What a bizarre food. I do put it in stews and stuff like that, but very sparingly, and sliced very thin after I've removed the disgusting strings. I just realized I'm making "a face" as I type this. Good post.

No, you are not a hypocrite. i didn't even know that you could cook celery. It has the most disgusting tatse raw. ech!
