OH, no no no
The man who hit me was not the same guy who sped up to keep me from getting in. It's a weird intersection, kind of an exit ramp connecting the eastbound and westbound sections of a huge multi-lane street that has a sort of island in between the two sides where there is a hotel. The guy who hit me was behind me on the ramp.
The westbound side of the street is coming down over the hill of an overpass, and the guy who caused the guy behind me to hit me was coming down that hill. When he saw me start to pull out, he sped up. Really, the person who caused the whole accident was this mysterious jerk in a black Jaguar. If he hadn't sped up, I'd have been off of the ramp and into westbound traffic when the guy behind me started to take his shot at merging. BUT....the jerk sped up, the guy behind me forgot to look to see if I really had gone, and WHAM! Unfortunately, there was no way to pin it on the stupid Jaguar driver.

Of course . . .
In the beginning of your previous post, you did say that he sped up to prevent you from merging. Sooooooo . . . even though he was quite nice once the accident happened, he was a jerkie prior to it. Don't feel too bad, hun!
