HolyGrail,
He could probably use a good friend, hehe.

Quirky
Yes they do. I'm not going to settle for someone who treats me like shit, or for someone just because he's "nice" if I'm not attracted to him.  I'd just be alone and friends with the second guy.

Marshall,
Well, I do agree, but it was hypothetical. Stupid, but hypothetical...lol.

none of them
would be a clear choice for me

lady,
lol...one more sentence, and that would almost be TMI.

Alf,
two words: HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION. They have to choose because that was my question. But in real life, you are so right...never settle.

Jemmie--me, too,
and vice versa.

HolyGrail, lol...
Do those choices make you want to opt for death instead?

Tanoo,
You're right, it was pretty good.

Quirky
Oh jeez!  Why oh why?  Well I'd say sadly number 2 would be for emergency purposes only.  Then I'd get a really big vibrator

posted by ladyofshalott on March 2, 2005 at 7:37 PM | link to this | reply

If someone HAD to choose it seems like #2 would be the logical choice...but why would someone HAVE to choose?  If you don't find exactly what you are looking for then don't settle.

Number two.  No matter how good-looking a guy is, a girl still deserves to be treated like a queen!

I've gona out with a couple of guys I wasn't physically attracted to at first, but once I got to know them, they became handsome in my eyes because they treated me wonderfully!

Hey....I fell in love with an ugly sweet guy....then he went away to Europe for 6 months and came back an incredible hunk...he decided he wanted to "play" with his new found good-looks....so he lost his sweetness when he gained the looks...and I got the boot after all that.....

jobella,
there ya go, good insight!

posted by Julia. on March 2, 2005 at 3:50 PM | link to this | reply

Okay, Okay I would definetely choose the ugly sweet guy. Beauty comes from the inside anyway!

posted by jobella on March 2, 2005 at 2:22 PM | link to this | reply

jobella,
No, no, no, no, no! Forget the sex of the individual, think in terms of the characteristics whether that be male, female or hermaphrodite! NOW which would ya choose?

posted by Julia. on March 2, 2005 at 1:43 PM | link to this | reply

Im gonna have to agree with Renigade on this one. Id turn GAY all the way!!!!!

posted by jobella on March 2, 2005 at 1:30 PM | link to this | reply

Witchflower,
no, in this hypothetical, you MUST choose one or the other!

Darrke,
So funny...and alas, so true!

sassy,
Well I'm with you on that, truly...but staying single wasn't an option, lol.

posted by Julia. on March 2, 2005 at 1:26 PM | link to this | reply

renigade,
Okay, I know you weren't serious...but what if those same choices were the only two available even if the person were female??

posted by Julia. on March 2, 2005 at 1:25 PM | link to this | reply

Justso,
Of COURSE a third choice is badly needed, but not available, lol. Thanks for answering!

Gypsy,
An interesting spin on the choices, lol.

I'm with Sassy
on #4.  If not, I'd prefer to be alone.

posted by Witchflower on March 2, 2005 at 12:57 PM | link to this | reply

#2

No hesitation...but I always end up with #4 - Butt ugly and inconsiderate...just goes to show you really can't judge a person by their looks.  Even ugly people can be self-centered and abusive!

posted by DarrkeThoughts on March 2, 2005 at 11:31 AM | link to this | reply

I choose man #3
He is the one that falls in between the first two. Handsome, rugged, wealthy, adores me and is moderately intelligent. If I can't have #3, then I choose to remain single thankyou.

I would become a lesbian...

A third choice is badly needed here, LOL
I can kick my self around. I married number 1 the first time, no thanks. It takes not time to make a decision. I can rent handsome. I don't need a lot of money. I demand respect!

posted by Justi on March 2, 2005 at 11:02 AM | link to this | reply

Quirky One...
Tough question. I have to admit that I must have attraction to my ideal mate. And respect is a must. Which am I willing to live without.... hmmmmm... Ok I admit it, I'd take the rich handsome one, get proof of his cheating ways, divorce him and take his money. Then I'd get the ugly one, pay for gym and clean him up best as possible and be happy ever after. If that isn't a choice, then I'll take the rich one and buy a bf. Screw it.. let's be honest.

posted by RedHeadedGypsy on March 2, 2005 at 10:55 AM | link to this | reply

Honestly-
I'd choose the first since love factored into neither. Did not take long at all. But that's assuming I was forced to choose one or the other.
