Ha! MsOC, I love the comment,
"wonderfully mean and cruel, but funny!" Awesome!

See how easy it is to be cruel?
You seem to have taken me seriously.  I'm horrible!    JJ---

That is hilarious, wonderfully mean and cruel, but funny.  Great post.

Nah, JJ. I assumed she was fine.
She just "moved on" I'm sure. (hope)

SpitFire!!!

You should have checked the hospitals as soon as you called back to see if she was still there.  She could have easily been admitted for fibrillations.    JJ

Taps, awwww!! Poor guy!
But, see how we take on the traits of our parents and our "learned behavior?" Well, I must admit, this was all my own doing. My parents would never have done such a thing to anyone, I'm sure.

I know, Jems! Who could resist that opportunity?!

Spitfire - It reminds me of something I said as a nurse to a patient--it just popped out.    My dad had very good ears and always heard the slightest thing.    When anyone let a fart even a tiny one he would say in a real accusing way, "I Heard That!"    In the hospital, I had been attending a patient and as I was leaving the room, from behind the curtain around the bed I heard an almost silent one and it just popped out of my mouth, "I Heard That!"     I immediately regretted it because he became highly embarassed and I don't think that my lame explanation helped much.   For the rest of the time he was there, he looked embarrased whenever he saw me.    LOL

I know, Taps. It was really a mean thing to do but
I just couldn't stop myself. It all happened too fast to even try.

Well, mooseandsquirrel,
I don't think she found it as funny as I did. I also think she was a little miffed at her coworkers for laughing. She played it off pretty well, though and chuckled. Btw, where did you come up with your handle mooseandsquirrel? I mean, I know what it means, but what's your story with it? It's unique. I happen to have a flying squirrel of my own. Yeah, and he's tearing up my chest right now so he's gonna be flying in a minute...

OMG!!
That was totally hilarious! Unfortunately, few can recover from that kind of humor! How did she react when you told her you were just fooling around? I'm a Sagitarius and one of my very favorite girls of all time is also an Aries. I love her and her traits are similar to yours. Sometimes a little crazy is a good thing.
