Ugh!
I'm so sorry to hear about your rib! Take things slowly for a while. Read some good books, listen to some good music. Eat well--veggies, etc. Take supplemental vitamins (if your doctor says it's okay to do so).
I'll be sending good thoughts your way!

Swim, find a pool that is very warm and relaxing. Do you have insurance that would cover physical therapy? Often therapists work in a place that has a lap pool. Thirty minutes four days a week to start. Streaching excercises very slow. After the swimming and streaching you might check out a yoga class. You probably have to build up strenght to do strenuous weight bearing excersise. There is not much you can do for the rib, I broke one during pregnancy and it never went back right. Eat more soy and take multivitamins
