HolyG, well that'd be good for a laugh!!

I have no talent
...so I guess I would stand up before everyone and eat a lot or burp.

A.Winters,
That's a great plan for ya! (Though, I'm sure no one would laugh...but I haven't heard ya sing so....) However, if you can sing and just happened to have an "off night" I think the comedy routine would work perfectly. I'll have to remember that!

Symph, I know. Dancing and singing seems to be
too easy for us (those that already know they can and have) but I bet you can come up with something! You're multi-talented.

Spitfire
you'd be great at stand up comedy!  I guess I would sing and then when everyone laughed, I'd made out like it was part of the comedy routine... ; )

I like singing and dancing and do that already....
but I am thinknig more of a challenge....hmmm....maybe something very out of the ordinary for me...but cant quite put my finger on it.....

Well, Sass, it sounds good to me...
And I must agree, I CANNOT STAND those that wear the hoochie shorts and half-shirts with the blubber hanging out!! What the HELL are they THINKING?? "Damn, I look saawweeet today!" Eeeeww!!!

It hit me like a ton of bricks
back in August. I don't eat much. I just look at food now and I gain a pound. Don't get me wrong, I'm skinny, and I have curves, its just that the curve's are in the wrong spots. I have to constantly keep up with my stomach area. There is nothing grosser then seeing a woman in a belly shirt with blubber hanging out. Nobody wants to see that nasty chit! I want to look good in my 40's. I see women my age that look 50 and it scare's me to my senses. I plan on running when it warms up. My asthma is gone now that I am taking Singulair. All of that crap that I went through for these last few months has given me a new lease on life. By the way, the local community colleges have hip-hop classes. They are cheap, fun, and will get you toned up quick.

G'Damn, Sass,
At friggin' 34, I gotta work EVERYTHING off!! Shit, I started having to work it off at 25!! Why is it that before age 23, I could eat ANYTHING I EVER WANTED and never gain an ounce? No fair!

posted by SpitFire70 on January 26, 2005 at 11:13 PM | link to this | reply

Thank God for that!
I'd be in big trouble if it were any longer then a week. Tater chips and chocolate get pretty gross after pigging out on them for 7 days straight. I also do Pilates. At 40, you gotta work off everything that you stuff in your face.

Oh, Sassy!!
Those "eat the hinges off of the fridge door days" are only a couple days out of each month!!

Hey, get me drunk and I'll even do some comedy
In fact I'll do just about anything if drunk enough. I think you would be great at hip-hop also. Its great for toning the blubbery spots from the 'eat the hinges off of the fridge door days'.

DivineD, if I can do it, you can do it!!
Alcohol helps a lot, too!!

Sass, I'd LOVE to see you dance hip hop!!
My family and a few friends throughout the years have insisted I go do one of those amature stand up comedy nights at a local comedy club. Don't know if I would ever do it...unless I'm drunk enough!

Well, Jems, use it if ya got it!!

Mark,

I LOVE the bagpipes!! When I was a little girl, I heard Amazing Grace played on them at a funeral and thought it was the most beautiful thing I had ever heard. Still is.

Of course, David1S!!
It's your talent! Cool idea, too!

DivineDiva sings her heart out !!

With a name like this what else would I do for a talent contest? I sing all the time but luckily only in the car or shower  !

Rumour has it that tequila makes me think I can dance, so I'm thinking copious amounts of wine would be needed before I dared get up on a stage to sing !

You would make a great comedian
I would bust out with some hip-hop dance moves and then probably faint from exhaustion.

Stand-up comedy sounds fun!

As for other talents . . . I don't really have any!  I s'pose I could strut around naked.  People wouldn't really care about my lack of talents then!

You bet.  It's the only really effective method for keeping the alligators out of the dining hall.  Makes the ugly bastards weep with pain.

Mark, do they play bagpipes at the Research Center?
Just wondered, cuz I kind of like them myself!

posted by David1Spirit on January 25, 2005 at 6:51 PM | link to this | reply

I'd play the bagpipes...it's the only talent I have ~
...and you always know whether people like them or hate them.  Not a lot of grey area there.

I know a few card tricks
Would that suffice?
