Amanda, your past few posts are so inspiring! Your writing is concise, short but (very) sweet. It's refreshing to read. I tend to post ridiculously long essays; concision is not a virtue I have inherently, nor will I ever probably achieve it. Oh well. When I get some real money under my belt I am going to make myself contribute to our troops, our poor population, tsunami victims, etc. I just need to be willing to temper some of my indulgences -- alcohol, tobacco, junk food. I am seriously considering selling some of my stocks and donating the money to good causes like these; if only I can get up the guts to tell my parents that is what I want to do with the money. They are caring people, but they are probably going to want me to save that money for my future and stuff, since severe depression has made me largely unable to function well enough to bring in much income. I want to recover fully, work regularly and hard, and put myself in a position where I can really be of help to those in need. Thanks for the encouragement!

They go to war because they believe in fighting for us!
Whatever someone's personal feelings are towards the war; we still must give our troops the proper respect and care (if neccessary) that a soldier deserves! It's only fair!
