Wow, how terrible. So sorry Quirky. I'm glad you're standing strong and the darkness isn't as heavy.

That's just a real bitch move!

Why would someone do this kind of thing? You did all the right things, but I'd be walking around with a baseball bat just waiting for the sucker that dared to open my mail. Any clue as to the guilty party? I'm sorry that you just became a victim. You deserve that massage and then some.

Spitfire and Jemmie, How shall I find myself a willing participant?

Dances, thanks...it will get straightened out one day.

Yikes!
That really is disturbing!!!  I think you should treat yourself to all three!  Get the massage and drink at the same time.  By the time both are done, you'll totally be in the mood for wild sex!

Wow, ya did the right thing by calling your
credit cards and stop payment on the check. Scary world these days. I say a stiff drink, some hot sex and a massage are all in order!

Ahhhh Quirky-
How troubling and utterly upsetting! I hope you get it all straightened out! :o/

Cynthia, well, that would be an acceptable trio for me as well (though I don't drink and haven't had any sex for...oh, never mind!).

Ca88, it's true, when you are in the bottom of a pit, there IS no way other than up!

Quirky, some days I need all 3
the sex, the massage and the drink.

Hey, at least you found the envelopes and could organise everything else! The only way is up...

After a day ripe with stress myself,
I am enjoying my third stiff drink and feeling much better, thank you.  As for stress in general--might I suggest Zoloft?  Makes things alot better.

I guess it was a good thing...
..that the mail incident didn't happen the day before! Geesh..that was enough stress even without the other stresses! But you triumphed! Good for you!!

Yes there are often simple explanations for the things that trouble us. And as you say there are cures ;-). Take care
