Sometimes you can't find anything to say - the post said it all - and at other times, you'll simply burst if you don't cast in your two cents worth.

Ah Quirky, I did wonder about you but as one who now takes many Blogit breaks, I figured you were doing the same. Honestly if you hadn't returned in a week or so, I would have e mailed to inquire. Back when I was in the throes of blogging obsession, I would get antsy pretty quickly whenever my favorites were absent. I was told by one to take a chill pill, so I did, lol. You were one of two who e mailed me not too long ago when I was away. It does feel nice to know there are bloggers who care. Please know the feeling is mutual.

I could blame my surgery and month of hell on my not noticing your absence (in fact I think I've read exactly ten pages this month...), but would that just be another excuse offered to you? Perhaps. I don't know. I'm too tired to tell anymore.
It's sad that you felt you had to perform this experiment in the first place - I suppose you learned something from it, though. If I had noticed I would have sent you an email, but I didn't notice. I'm not sure which says more.

The Quirkster returns, finally!
Glad to know that nothing untoward happened to you. Yes, I admit, I'm ashamed that I didn't care enough, or was too busy living, to email. Hmmm, I wonder why I didn't. I have in the past. Sorry, old girl. You do realize though that it seems as if Blogit has a revloving door and more people go MIA than those that are coming in. Your Post has stirred the beginnings of a post in my mind Quirky to do with connections formed here. Stay tuned and please don't take unscheduled leave again.
P.S. I lift my hat to you. You have some fortitude and discipline not to here and not tempted to write a word or make a single comment in all that time. I dunno if I could do it.

Funny - I was on a little break too, couldn't get all the work - job- cooking for turkey day- entertaining family- keeping family from killing each other- taking my kids on outtings as they were of school- blowing my nose with a bad cold -and cleaning and God knows what other stuff together. Back but not running on full speed yet

If you think I didn't notice you must be crazy. I kept going back to check that your post about the toys was the last one and looked for some clues as to where you were then I observed how long you remained in the top 25 of MPT and the weekly list in spite of not having posted. I observed your progress and thought that I would not remain so far up the list were I not to post.
I was going to email you and then I thought you must have your reasons plus I was completely bogged down both with work AND last week with another massive phase of self-doubt. Besides I usually leave it a couple of weeks before I panic about bloggers. Last week I actually emailed another blogger who had been gone for more than two weeks. I am not one to post an APB just because someone didn't brush their teeth for a couple of days.

i'm very sorry i wasn't here because i usually notice these things quickly. i sent justsouno an email when she hadn't posted for a few days and whammie also. you are absolutely a favorite here and should never have to think otherwise. i'm sure that i can speak for ir in that we definitely appreciate the concern showed for us. in my case especially i did not expect the attention i received, except maybe from hollee who i knew was not around. i was extremely touched by everyone's concern for me. but you are an icon here. i'm glad that ariala had the wherewithall to send you an email. please accept a group apology. we are all very sorry.

I honestly was just trying not to pry. Believe it or not.
I am a very private person (you know that) and prefer when others don't ask, especially if it's in my private life. You know I'm like this. Arialas photo page, there are many missing from here and people come and go and change names, so it is hard to know what is up. I noticed many disappesred after the election in the News&Politic and US category but if you really want to see who is missing is check the photo page and it will surprise you.
