Thanks Spitfire!
Oh and just to let you know, Stinkerton is now making nests and hiding food, so by springtime she should be ready to be released. I didn't want to release her during the winter.

erinlove,
welcome to the world of SQUIRRELS!! They don't perceive peeing on anyone or anything as offensive. They're wild animals. It's probably these two things: They are "marking us" as "theirs" and probably more so, they are just peeing and just happen to be on us at the time. If Stinkerton is peeing on you at a certain time (when you wake him, just after he eats, or after playing) try waiting before allowing him to be on you after those times.

I have another question about Stinkerton, my squirrel. Every morning she gets on my back and pees. Why does she do this? Does she not like me or something?

Pecan, I guess not. Well, not anymore.
I admit I love him and he loves me but I still just want to do the best thing for him. Even if that means keeping him. I just feel bad that he may not be able to be free. He is a wild animal and I have much respect for that, but as you know, on occasion, certain rehabs just can't be released if survival is quite questionable.

Not so hard imagining him as a pet is it?

auntyholly, he is cool and he's just started to enjoy climbing up a
stack of pillows and flying back to my shoulder. He does it over and over again now. He's such a cute, fat, fuzzy, funny little guy!

Yeah!!!! Stanley!!!
Whoo Hoooo! I can almost hear him in Rudolph's voice. "She thinks I'm cute. She thinks I'm cute." Why that popped in my mind, I don't know.

Jems, I wish I could catch him for a picture, but maybe I'll get it on
the camcorder sometime soon.
