Thanks Word.Smith
for the comment. "If they never gave it. . ." is a qualifyer to the question--naughty, naughty Some would then consider that their parents could take their life away, if it suited them. In some cultures, that was a justifiable moral cause to kill your kin--sons daughters and wives.
Thanks,
FR

Thanks for the comments
For Pappy, yes, someone else taking your life away from you--killing you, being the ultimate form.
For AnnandBen, the question of morality of euthanasia will come up later . This is just the basic question first.
Thanks,
FR

Does this include euthanasia?
I think the brain dead
maybe helped to go
but then again,
a miracle may happen.
Patients in coma have
been known to awake after many years.
A very tough decision.

Do you mean someone else taking your life, or taking your own life? Is living less that the life you could because of greed or selfishness, or even fear also immoral? I do believe in capital punishment, but I also believe that everybody gets eternal life; whether they know it or not, whether they want it or not. Send them back to god and let him sort it out. Hell would be of your own making if you could only prepare for eternity while alive, but didn't bother because you didn't believe it.
