Thanks, Jems. I will assume that's the hair color that Hollee was
referring to in her comment. Anyway, he is a cute little guy, isn't he?

Awesome pictures!
Love the pics! And the color of your hair in the pic of you holding Stanley is almost the same color as my own hair!

Pecan, it is ALWAYS hard to let any of them go.
In fact, that's the hardest part. I cry like a big blubbering baby. Yeah, I'm a bit of a sap. Ya can't help but get attached to them especially when you've raised them from a few days old up until 4 to 5 months of age.

Okay, canine. Next time I'm brought a new rehab,
if they're Flying Squirrels, I'll ship 'em to ya. But, get ready for feedings 24/7 every 2 hours and oh, btw, I started out with a litter of 4. Flying squirrel's average litter size is 2 to 7. hehe.

Ah Spitfire!
What a cutie Patootie you have there. Mother Earth has blessed you with the job of caring for her "Lesser" animals. You are very lucky. Stanley is so very cute. It would be so hard for me to let him go.

WolfG, no. They actually "glide". Ya know when you see a regular common
squirrel jumping from limb to limb or to other trees? Well, istead of jumping, they actually jump and glide to their destination. They spread their arms and legs out wide (they're armpits and legs are webbed-like) and their tail is flat like a feather instead of bushy. They use their tail as a rudder to steer them along. Pretty cool, huh?

Wolf-G, he is cute. In a squirrely kind of way!!

He does look a bit more like a mouse/bat, though!

canine, well, he's the only one I have left that survived the litter of 4.
Besides, squirrels and flying squirrels don't make good pets. Stanley will have to eventually be released into the wild squirrel world when he's ready. I may not see him much after that, cause flying squirrels are nocturnal. But, yeah, he is pretty cute, isn't he? He's fast asleep on my head right now.

Symph, yes, a little, but he won't get too much bigger.
This particular rehab is quite an experience!
