Straightforward, I'm actually sorry you understand how it feels.
It is not easy for anyone and the pain can be long lasting; however, it's worth it for the time shared with such unique and loving souls.

I understand how it feels
I understand how it feels when we have animals that are pets. It's really a difficult decision what to do when they are badly ailing.

I am so sorry you had to go through that heartbreak. I couldn't imagine it. I hope I never have to go through it myself.
On another note, I have been told you know alot about animals. I have a squirrel problem I just wrote a post about it under Erin's Rants in the Opinion section. Will you please read it and give me some advice. Thanks

I'm so sorry. Brittany was so fortunate to have owners who cared - am sure she is looking out for you.

Alf, you flatter me...and made me teary eyed...again.
Thank you for your kind words.

I'm sure you have and will continue to cherish every day with your Adrienne.

Spitfire...
You are a wonderful mommy. You let her pass with digity and love, and I think you have handled it all exceptionally. I try not to think of the inevitable with Adrienne, but you have given me some insight as to what I may expect one day and when that day comes I think it will be helpful. Thank you, and bless you. You give honor to Brits memory.

Thank you, Incubus, I appreciate that very much.
It's been an extremely difficult time for me and it's only been 2 whole days.

She did have wonderful people with her, Jems.
She's known Doc all her life (he even spayed her as a puppy) and as you know, she adored M. She's known Ange, Aaron, and Yoli for many years, too, so she was definitely surrounded by love.

So compelling
Your write-up is so touching and compelling. I feel like I was there in the room with you and even have tears in my eyes as well.
I'm glad she had such wonderful people with her.

Canine, I wouldn't doubt it for one minute that Britt and Christa have met
already. Two big shepherd girls running around together sharing tough-dog stories.. Yeah, I can see it.

You're always making me cry!
I'm glad that you were able to let her go peacefully. I know you miss her more than words could ever express, but she's finally out of pain. You did the best thing you've ever done for her by letting her go before she was hurting too much. I know you'll grieve, but focus on the happy times with her. As I've said before, my heart truly goes out to you.

Spitfire,
Brittany is now with my Christa. I'm sure that somewhere they are running together, playing together and having way more fun than we are. Keep your chin up and remember that she loved you, and you loved her.

Me too, HolyG. It makes a big difference and helps the feeling of
anxiety for what may come. She needed to leave this world with dignity and pride. That was her main concern, so I made it mine, too.

meaningful enough.
