I know, Rachel. And the sad part is I'm sure there are many, many of the
I.P. out there who forwarded it and are still waiting for their gift certificate. Dumbasses.

DEVILINME1, my motto is if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
And I don't feel it's ever worth my time, effort, or security to even chance it. Screw that. Oh, and I break all those mushy gushy friendship and prayer emails, too. Don't have a smidge of guilt. My friends should know me better than to keep sending me that crap.

Exactly, Talion. That's just one of my points here. People don't get it
that even with spyware and antivirus etc, we are all still vulnerable. Not to mention how F#@!&^* ANNOYING they are!!

Hahahaha!
I got a pop up for that and laughed at the idea that Applebee's would actually do that--even a big company like Applebee's doesn't have the budget for that!

It doesn't work? Damn. I actually know someone who filled out all
the forms, (aka more surveys for companys) after pages and pages of "free" surveys, they hit em with the "purchase this" page to get "your free applebee's card" Asswipe spent a few bucks just to find out he had to order a few more things. Which he didnt do. So he SPENT money to turn down the offer.

Ever wonder how spammers get you e-mail address? This is one of the ways the do. These chain e-mails are actually keeping track of all they addresses they hit and viola, an instant list of fools. Not to mention the possibility of a virus. So when a well-meaning, yet gullible friend passes this on to you, they are actually passing on a hell of a lot more.
