Ahhh, your posts are like a fresh drink of water.
Always a gift.
Thank you for mentioning me luv, and interesting observation about my feminine side that Joycie left with me.
That's what happened I think being the teacher she was, I think she was teaching this old dog how to live all the years we were together.
And since she died, without the feminine nurturing of special ladies on here like your own wonderful self, I would have taken my leave of this earth by now.

friarcito, well, maybe I meant verbal videos !!! I saw the action at the
bus station that night and watched the rain falling on the streets, as you wrote about it all. You make things come alive with your photos, your writing and then I have also learned some things about blog html and things from you.
You are a tireless blogger, whether maintaining sites for Catholics and the Phillippines, for web students or friends around the world. You have taught yourself so much and your willingness to share it is our blessing.

tely, it's just that I agonized with you for so long as you scrimped and
suffered and worried about money in your old posts and then to read about your shopping 'til you were dropping, was scarey. I think of the 'saving for a rainy day' scenario, like, in case you have to pay first and last month's rent at some new digs..... just as an example.
This from a woman who took her (third??!?!) husband's divorce settlement and gave African parties in my specially rented 'party home', for 60+ foreign students at the university, with barbeque'd chicken, beer and wine free, every three weeks for over a year, until the money was gone! Then, I suddenly had to scramble to find work. What a year that was. It will be all that I hope to remember as dementia sets in soon.

Oh dear, I didn't mean to make your tummy hurt. Well, to be honest, it's been years since I've been able to -shop- and it's fun, and yes, I'm making up for lost time as it were. But it's settling down now, thankfully. Yes, I will post pictures once I figure out how to do it here.

jemmie, beating your way back to a full life against the rip tide of grief
is your greatest challenge of the moment. Doing what you used to do when you had him in your life, alive, and doing it now with a tinge of sorrow, but moving forward, marching through the knee deep mud of fatherlessness. My heart travels with you, my mouth whispers of tomorrow and a little less pain......

LadyKenobi, did I mention that I read you, voraciously and often? I think
not. Sorry, there are so many that are on my list of must reads and I can't remember them all without lists in front of me......You know that you're tops with me, because I've invited you to live with my dogs. However, like Attax, I must, just must disagree with your 'leanings', poor misguided ladies. But, I'm borderline demented, so, my opinion has just about as much value as anybody else's, I'm sure.
Yes, Mexico is like that and Colombia follows in second place. It is a national hobby in Honduras, too, and hatefully popular with the unemployed vicious citizens of too many central and south American nations. Easy money, it feels like.
Live Long and Prosper, and avoid the Secuestro Express.....

You are the ideal reader - you read for the joy of it. How closely you observe people. At some point you will have a painting, at least on the screen. Yes I am blogging more, perhaps too much but I am unfurling the writing and the stories I need to get out there. I am finding my way toward that life you said you visualized me in. The rectangle table is on order.
Majroj is right - your list is a rare treat.

I Still Do Hug My Daddy
In spirit.
Last night I wrote him a letter. Also lit a candle and told him I loved him so much.
Today I'm going to try to go to church to light a candle there and say some prayers.
