Originally I was going to put the musical staff inside a circle that read "In loving memory" on top (in Daddy's favorite color) and "Daddly's Little Girl" on the bottom (in my favorite color), but when I got to the tattoo parlor, I changed my mind and decided to make it very simple. I kept the staff I had originally designed and just put his name on top and the dates of his birth and death on the bottom. The entire tattoo is in black.
I really do love it, however, I need to get the two notes that make up the Ds touched up a bit. Everyone who has seen it so far really love it too. They think it's a wonderful way to always have Daddy with me--even the people who are against tattoos!

Jems, a tattoo!!! I love what you have chosen as a design.
I forget where you said that you put the design, how big is it? Any color in it? Does it comfort you? How are you doing now? Still have a candle buring for your healing.....
