Jemmie, there is never enough time, never. I had my dad for over 80
years and knew that he was dying and told him everything in my heart and it never ever felt like it was enough. Enough does not exist when it comes to loving, I think. I am so very sorry that this was a surprise and in your youth, it seems so unfair.
My heart goes out to you and your family.

That's really too bad that your dad was killed by a Car.
Please take care of yourself. Only lean on those you've known all your life. You will need to lean on someone you can really trust while you mourn. My father was killed in 1991. He was shot by a teenage robber.
(by the way, I blocked everyone in the MA category, so it's not a personal thing)
