Quirky--- It's the best way to unwind for me.
I would just prefer soaking in a nice, hot bath then standing up and having water shooting down at me from a showerhead... If I had a choice. I don't think it's all that uncommon. It's just a preference thing.

Hell I'll take the shower anyday. It last a lot longer and gives you a heck of a lot more satisfaction and you don't have to watch the shower put on the trousers and walk out the door. shadow

It's all about the hot shower. Hot sex will be sorely (pun intended) missed but at least you can try to do it yourself. No such luck with a hot shower, the only remedy for being sick and feeling crap. very much a comfort thing!

Interesting point about the water running out. Oh, now I feel guilty for taking such long showers! Not really--I compensate by conserving water in other ways.
I don't even want to think about what it would be like to only shower once a year--or once a week for that matter!

I'd Ditch...
...the shower, no question.
Y'know, it's very modern, and still relatively rare still around the world, that we shower every day. There are places where people are quite happy to bathe or shower once a year, yet because of their diet and other habits, they don't smell at all.
Also, clean water is running out, globally. Later this century, we'll be fighting wars over it, like we do now over oil.

and settle for a luke warm one. The hot sex is for sure a keeper. As for sore muscles, hubby can rub those out for me.
