I think I read that too. Also the one where the kid got an F for writing his paper will all the acronyms. Seems they don't know how to form proper sentences without them!

I read somewhere that thanks to computer lingo, our children no longer know
how to spell or write in complete sentences anymore?!
Funny how advancement in one area leads to deterioration in another?
I also read that they were considering lowering the bar so that more kids would pass?
I do not remember havind so many educational problems back in the day, that the bar needed to be lowered....we just needed to apply ourselves a bit more. But what do I know? I have no kids and am not an Educator!

Being the totally kool Aunt, when I see my niece and nephew on line........
I often make contact. I am astute enough to dechiper their lingo, and just enough on the fringe that I am not totally out of it. And just kool enough that these kids know that they have a grown friend they can turn to!
I have no children of my own, so these kids are as close as I will get!!!!
